The Red Bulls’ depth could be tested in June and July.

That’s because four members of the MLS club could be participating in the Concacaf Gold Cup. Concacaf announced the 40-man provisional rosters for the 16 finalists Monday.

Four Red Bulls players were selected to their national team’s 40-man provisional roster for the competition, which runs from June 15 to July 7.

In fact, their backline’s depth could be severely tested as the selections included three defenders — center back Aaron Long (U.S.), the 2018 Major League Soccer defender of the year, right back Michael Amir Murillo (Panama), and left back Kemar Lawrence (Jamaica).

Also tabbed by Haiti was midfielder-forward Derrick Etienne, Jr.

New York City FC could lose only one player — defender Ronald Matarrita (Costa Rica).
