ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — Despite playing the final 18 minutes with a man advantage, Red Bull II could not crack the Tampa Bay Rowdies defense and suffered its second loss of the USL Championship season Saturday night.

New York Red Bulls II (6-2-2, 20 points) suffered their second loss of the season to Tampa Bay Rowdies on Saturday night at Al Lang Stadium..

Juan Tejada had a brace for the Rowdies at Al Lang Stadium, scoring in the 29th and 57th minutes.

The hosts were forced to play with 10 men when forward Dominic Oduro was red carded in the 72nd minute.

NYRBII goalkeeper Evan Louro made his 50th career regular season start for the team.

Forward Ben Mines made his first start for NYRB II since March 29 vs. Memphis 901 FC.

NYRB II will return home to face North Carolina FC on Military Appreciation Night May 24 at 7 p.m.
