HOWELL, N.J. – Sky Blue FC has signed Kaylan Marckese and Sabrina Flores prior to Saturday’s 3 p.m. home match against the Washington Spirit, the National Women’s Soccer League club Friday.

Marckese has sgined a supplemental player contract and Flores a national team replacement contract.

They were a part of the 2019 NWSL Draft class, both chosen in the fourth round.

Marckese, 21, was the 28th overall draft pick out of the University of Florida. She made 78 appearances, recording 250 saves and 29 clean sheets. For the past two years Marckese was named to the Southeast Conference All-Tournament Team. She set school goalkeeping records for solo shutouts and complete matches.

The 34th overall pick in the draft, the 23-year-old Flores was a product of the University of Notre Dame. During her four years there, she scored five goals and tallied 18 assists in 82 appearances. Flores was a 2016 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup participant for the United States.
