The man who led FC Motown to the National Premier Soccer League final will try again this season.

FC Motown announced Monday that Sacir Hot will return as head coach.

Hot directed the New Jersey club to a 14-2 mark last year, defeating Cosmos B in the quarterfinals before falling to Miami FC 2 in the final at Ranger Stadium in Madison, N.J., 3-1.

Little doubt that Hot has a busy schedule. Besides coaching, he is a fulltime student at Montclair State and is a Red Bulls Academy scout.

Before kicking off its NPSL season, FC Motown will meet the Red Bulls Under-23 squad in the first round of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup May 7.

The team begins its NPSL campaign against Philadelphia Lone Star May 11 at 7 p.m.
