has been honored twice by the Garden State Journalists Association.

Editor Michael Lewis was awarded first place in the print/sports column category for his piece on Red Bulls’ attendance woes in April 2018.

It was entitled: “Offside Remarks: one Confounding Head-Scratching Question: Just Where Was Everyone at Red Bull Arena?”

Lewis finished third in print/sports feature category for his story on FC Motown defender Julius James, headlined, “King James: Veteran Center Back Solidifies FC Motown Backline.”

The GSJA’s awards dinner is scheduled for May 22.
