Former Albertson Elite Fury midfielder Amanda Rooney has joined the Sky Blue FC training camp as a trialist.
A member of the University of South Carolina’s 2016 NCAA Division I championship team, the 23-year-old Rooney most recently played for Gintra-Universitetas in Lithuania.
Kyra Carusa, taken in the 2019 NWSL college draft pick, has departed from preseason camp to return to Georgetown University, where she i finishing up her Master’s Degree in integrated marketing communications.

The club’s first National Women’s Soccer League season will be played against the Washington Spirit at Maryland SoccerPlex April 13 and the home opener is set vs. the Houston Dash Saturday, April 20.
