Three Long Island soccer legends will share their soccer knowledge this year at the 37th annual Long Island Junior Soccer League convention.

Former Cosmos and New York Arrows goalkeeper and MSG Networks commentator Shep Messing, former Adelphi University men’s soccer coach and Red Bulls Academy director Bob Montgomery and Red Bulls head coach Chris Armas, former Major League Soccer and U.S. men’s national team midfielder, will take part in a panel discussion.

The panel is set for the Huntington Hilton in Salon D Saturday, March 9 3 p.m.

“Each of the panelists gives a unique perspective from their experiences in the game, from playing to coaching to broadcasting,” LIJSL technical director Ronan Wiseman said. “Given that they have grown up on Long Island and remain local, it will be a very relevant conversation for our current coaches and players.”

The panel, moderated by Jim Kilmeade, managing partner of BQE Soccer Partners, starts at 3 p.m. To confirm attendance at the panel,  please register online here.
