Sky Blue FC has announced its full preseason schedule.

The New Jersey team will face four college teams at Sportika Sports leading up to the National Women’s Soccer League season opener against the Washington Spirit at Maryland SoccerPlex April 13.

Sky Blue will open its preason against St. John’s University Saturday, March 16 at 3 p.m. ET. This will be the seventh consecutive year that Sky Blue has hosted the Red Storm for an exhibition match. Sky Blue is undefeated against St. John’s across all competitions, outscoring its foes, 15-1.

Next the team will face the University of West Virginia for the second straight year Saturday, March 23 at 3:00 p.m. ET. In its first year under head coach Denise Reddy, Sky Blue defeated the Mountaineers 1-0 in the 2018 preseason.

On Friday, March 29, Sky Blue will take on Rutgers University for only the second time at 7 p.m. ET. These two teams met during the 2015 NWSL preseason as Sky Blue won, 2-0. Rutgers’ Yurcak Field serves as the location for all Sky Blue FC home games.

Finally, Sky Blue will conclude its preseason Saturday, April 6 at 3 p.m. ET against the University of North Carolina. This match will mark the sixth time these two teams have met, with Sky Blue holding a 4-1 record.

Sky Blue will begin its seventh season with preseason camp starting Monday.
