Jamaica international goalkeeper Nicole McClure has a new home as she prepares for the Women’s World Cup.

She has signed with Sion Swifts of the NIFL Women’s Premier League in Northern Ireland.

The league resumes play in April.

McClure, 29, was born in Jamaica, Queens and played for several clubs in the metropolitan area, including Auburndale SC and the East Meadow Shooting Stars in the Long Island Junior Soccer League.

McClure, who made several key saves against Panama in the third-place game to boost the Reggae Girlz into the world championship last October, hopes to be among the 23 players heading for France in June.

The Jamaicans will play Chile, another Women’s World Cup bound squad, in a pair of friendlies in Kingston Feb. 28 and in Montego Bay March 3.
