Minnesota United Monday declined the option of goalkeeper and New York native Alex Kapp.

Kapp, a member of the Major League Soccer club for two seasons, did not play a game with the second-year expansion team. He was the Loons’ No. 3 keeper for the past season.

He starred for Boston College from 2012-15 and then Creighton University as a graduate student in 2016. The former FC Westchester standout performed in 62 games in college, making more than 200 saves.

He is the son of former Cosmos and U.S. international Erhardt Kapp.

A full MLS list of players eligible for free agency, the waiver draft and re-entry draft will be announced by the league. The MLS half-day trade window takes place between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. ET on Sunday, Dec. 9 and the expansion draft is set to be held Tuesday, Dec. 11 at 2 p.m. ET. An hour after the draft, free agency begins.

The waiver draft is scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 12 at 4 p.m. ET and the re-entry draft begins with Stage One on Friday, Dec. 14 at 3 p.m. ET. Stage Two takes place Thursday, Dec. 20 at 2 p.m. ET.
