The Rochester Lancers will kick off their first Major Arena Soccer League 2 season with back-to-back games at the Dome Arena Friday, Jan. 4 and Saturday, Jan. 5.
They will host the Detroit Waza Flo in Henrietta, N.Y. on the first night, followed by a game against the Cincinnati Swerve Saturday. Both games are set for 7 p.m. ET.
The Lancers will play six home games out of a total of 12 against Eastern Conference foes. All of their home games will be played on consecutive nights and begin at 7 p.m.
The next weekend Rochester hits the road for its first two away matches, playing at the Muskegon Risers Friday, Jan. 11, followed with a road encounter at the Waza Flo Saturday, Jan. 12 at 5:50 p.m.
After a three-week hiatus, the Lancers return to the Dome to welcome the Chicago Mustangs Friday, Feb. 1 before hosting the Swerve Saturday, Feb. 2.
Again, Rochester will play two back-to-back away games, starting their most grueling part of the schedule. The visit the Swerve Saturday, Feb. 9 at 8:05 p.m. before taking on the Waza Flo Sunday, Feb. 10 at 5:50 p.m.
The Lancers will play at the Risers Friday, Feb. 22 at 7:15 p.m. and then the Mustangs Saturday, Feb. 23 at 7 p.m.
They will host their final two home games in March, against the Waza Flo Friday, March 8 at 7 p.m. and then the Risers Saturday, March 9 at 7 p.m.
The M2 playoff format will be announced shortly after the final Pacific Division schedule is released next week.
