ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Rochester Lancers are set to make a series of major announcements next week.

The Major Arena Soccer League team will announce its home venue, head coach, returning players, head coach and title sponsors, among other news, at a press conference at IDE Volkswagen in East Rochester, N.Y. Tuesday, Nov. 13 at 3 p.m.

It already has been announced that the Dome Arena in suburban Henrietta, N.Y. will be the Lancers’ indoor home this winter. The home opener is set for Friday, Jan. 4.

IDE Volkswagen is one of the Lancers’ title sponsors.

“We have enjoyed a great partnership with the Rochester Lancers in the past and we are happy to be able to continue this collaboration,” said Rich Ide, owner of Ide Family of Dealerships. “Ide Dealerships believes it is important to support teams that help our community grow. It’s truly priceless for our youth to have access to highly skilled soccer players. Go Lancers!”

The Lancers’ indoor team played from 2011-2015 at the Blue Cross Arena, and led their league in attendance each year. Famous for the “It’s a Party, Not a Game” mentality, the Lancers attracted thousands of fans, with music, bounce houses, live bands, t-shirt tosses, autograph sessions and more.

Lancers, Inc. is a non-profit soccer organization that also owns the outdoor Rochester Lancers of the National Premier Soccer League and the Lady Lancers of United Women’s Soccer.

Season tickets for the indoor Lancers, Lady Lancers and the outdoor Lancers can be purchased at RLancers.com; $99 Season Tickets include all three teams, plus free parking.
