PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Hofstra University men played to a scoreless draw at Brown University Tuesday night.
The Pride moved to 7-5-4 while Brown is now 7-6-1.
With 36 shots (Hofstra had 19), there were ample scoring opportunities. The Pride had a chance at a golden goal in the second extratime but Storm Strongin’s shot hit the crossbar.
Leo Arkhanhelskyi made his second consecutive start in goal and had five saves. Brown goalkeeper Max Gross also made five saves.
Hofstra is back in action in its final regular season home game against the College of Charleston Saturday at 1 p.m. The Pride will celebrate senior day prior to the start of the game.
