RIVERDALE, N.Y. – The Lehman College men lost their regular-season finale to New York University, 2-0, in a non-league game at Gaelic Park Saturday.

After a scoreless first half, the Violets (11-3) got on the scoreboard just over four minutes into the second half when Santiago Huertas found the back of the net off a pass from Alexander Dano to give NYU the lead. It was his first goal of the season.

NYU doubled their advantage three minutes from the final whistle when Oliver Kleban their leading scorer took a pass from Robert Shellow and fired it past goalkeeper Chris Mulholland (seven saves).

Lehman (7-8-1) opens the City University of New York Athletic Conference Tournament at home Wednesday as the third-seeded team (5-2-1 conference record) at 4:30 p.m. against an opponent to do determined.
