YONKERS, N.Y. — In a continuation of a game that was stopped by lightning two weeks ago, Cedar Stars Academy recorded a 2-1 victory over Lansdowne Bhoys Tuesday night.

Cosmos B forward Bledi Bardic tallied his second goal of the game in the 90th to snap a 1-1 deadlock in the Cosmopolitan Soccer League First Division match at Tibbet Brook Park.

FC Motown midfielder Dilly Duka started the winning scoring sequence, passing to Chris Katona. Katona then fed Bardic, who struck for his dramatic goal. Duka and Bardic had teammed up to give Cedar Stars a 1-0 halftime lead.

Bardic, who has 11 goals in the league and 16 across all competitions, had given CSA a 1-0 lead over the reigning CSL champions Oct. 2 before lightning forced the game to be put on hold Oct. 2.

He had tallied 12 goals in 11 games for Cosmos B during the recent National Premier Soccer League season.

The result was the closest CSL match for CSA this fall season.

CSA (5-0, 15 points), which is tied with N.Y. Pancyprian Freedoms for the First Division lead, has outscored its CSL opposition this season, 26-5. The team hosts Hoboken FC 1912 at the Capelli Sport Complex Sunday at 8 p.m.

Lansdowne (0-5-0, 0), the defending champions, remained in 10th and last place.
