NEW YORK — The Baruch College men outshot Hunter College, 14-6, but settled for a scoreless draw in a City University of New York Athletic Conference match at Randall’s Island Wednesday afternoon.

The second-place Bearcats improved to 7-4-2 and 5-0-1.

Both teams came out patient in their attack, combining for one shot in the first half by Baruch’s Ricardo Llanos. The Bearcats also had four corner kicks.

Things began to pick up in the second half, as the Bearcats and Hawks each attempted five shots, but still finished regulation scoreless, forcing the extratime.

The Bearcats had eight shots in the extra periods, more than what they had attempted in regulation, but could not find the back of the net.
