NIAGARA N.Y. – Niagara University scored five consecutive goals to pummel the Monmouth University men, 5-1, in a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference game Saturday night.

Moe Tshuma scored two goals and Luca Pacheco added one goal and two assists for the winners.

Senior Henrique Joaquim scored his first goal for the Hawks (2-8-1, 0-4-0), connecting on a header that floated over the goal keeper on a free kick from junior Michael Luke.

Niagara (3-9-0, 1-3-0) scored the equalizer on a penalty kick less than a minute later, and scored four more goals to seal the win. Monmouth returns home to face Marist Wednesday.
