BROOKLYN, N.Y. — The Baruch College men overcame a one-goal deficit to secure a 3-2 City University of New York Athletic Conference win against York College at the Aviator Sports Complex Wednesday night.
The Cardinals scored first in the 19th minute with Rohan Burrel scored his seventh goal after being fed a through ball.
The Bearcats took control by scoring the next three goals, including two within a three-minute span late in the first half.
Cormac Foley, assisted by Ricardo Llanos, scored in the 38th minute and Shaiem Allah Morad scored unassisted in the 41st to lead 2-1 at the half.
The lead grew to 3-1 in the 54th minute on an unassisted goal by Adonis Martinez via a free kick.
York made the match interesting late with Burrell scoring again in the 84th minute.
The Beacats dominated possession and outshot the Cardinals, 25-4.
