NEW YORK – The Lehman College men’s three-game winning streak came to an end on Wednesday afternoon after dropping a 1-0 decision to Hunter College in City University of New York Athletic Conference match at Randall’s Island.

The only goal came in the 12th minute by William Benitez off a free kick. It was also the first time since 2014 that the Hawks (3-6-1, 2-1-1) defeated the Lightning (5-6, 3-2).

Lehman junior goalkeeper Chris Mulholland had two saves.

The Lightning welcomes the College at Old Westbury in a non-conference encounter at noon Sunday.
