QUEENS, N.Y. – Following a 2-0 week that saw the Red Storm men’s soccer team stretch its unbeaten streak to four, Lenny Wilson was named the Big East goalkeeper of the week, it was announced Monday.

Wilson earned his first goalkeeper of the week accolade after improving to 4-1-1 on the year with a shutout of Butler University at Belson Stadium Saturday night, extending his unbeaten streak to five consecutive starts.

The senior from Aberdeen, Scotland made four saves, three of which came in the second half, to post his third shutout in his last four appearances. The Hartwick College transfer ranks second in the conference in goals- gainst average (0.63) and third in save percentage (.826).

The Red Storm returns to action at Belson Stadium, playing host to No. 9 Creighton University Saturday.
