JAMAICA, N.Y. – The Lehman College men won their second consecutive conference encounter on Wednesday, defeating York College, 2-0, in a City University of New York Athletic Conference match at Detective Keith L. Williams Park.

The Lightning improve to 4-5, 2-1 while the Cardinals fell to 1-7-1, 0-2-1.

Freshman forward Mubarack Ouro scored his first collegiate goal off a pass down middle from senior forward Sahl Alzubidi for a 1-0 advantage in the 31st minute.

Sophomore midfielder Eduardo Victorio closed out the scoring when he notched his second tally of the season in the 68th minute off an assist from sophomore defender Adewale Adewusi.

Junior goalkeeper Chris Mulholland made one save to earn his fourth victory and third shutout this season.

The Lightning will return home to South Field for another CUNYAC match-up, hosting Brooklyn College at noon Saturday.
