WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Baruch College men lost in extratime to Randolph Macon College, 2-1, at the “Turk” Emekli DC Classic Friday afternoon.

The match start was delayed by the threat of thunderstorms, but when it got underway it was a scoreless battle until the 80th minute.

The Yellow Jackets scored first in the 80th minute off a corner kick that was re-directed into the goal on a header by Peyton Chichester.

The Bearcats responded less than a minute later with an unassisted goal by Shaiem Allah Morad into the corner of the goal.

Randolph Macon won in sudden death seven minutes in on an unassisted goal by Anthony Astruc.

The Bearcats meet tournament hosts Catholic University at the updated location of The Landon School in Bethesda, Md. Saturday at 2:30 p.m.
