The St. John’s University men and women have released their complete home broadcast schedule for the upcoming season.

Women

In addition to the seven games slated to be carried on the Big East Digital Network, the Red Storm will have four home matches broadcast on ESPN3 and the Watch ESPN app.

Three of St. John’s four ESPN3 broadcasts will come during non-conference play, beginning Aug. 27 in an evening game against Sacred Heart scheduled for 7 p.m. The Red Storm will return to action on ESPN3 a little over a week later when the team hosts local foe Stony Brook Sept. 2 at 7 p.m. The Johnnies will close out their non-conference stretch on Sept. 14 with a showdown against Delaware at 7 p.m.

The Red Storm’s final ESPN3 match will come during conference action, as the Johnnies welcome Providence to Belson Stadium for a 7 p.m. matchup on Oct. 4.

All of the Red Storm’s ESPN3 games will be produced by SJU-TV, the award-winning multimedia wing of the St. John’s athletic department. Since the 2012-13 season, SJU-TV has undertaken nearly 400 broadcasts that were carried live in H.D. quality to nearly 100 million homes on ESPN3 and the FOX Sports GO app.

St. John’s also will have seven game carried on BEDN, the official streaming channel of the conference hosted on FOXSportsGO.com, beginning with the team’s conference opener against Georgetown at Belson Stadium on Sept. 23 at 1 p.m. Following the Johnnies home matchup, the team will visit Creighton (Sept. 27) and Marquette (Sept. 30) with both games being aired on BEDN. One week later the Johnnies host Butler for an afternoon game on Sunday, Oct. 7 at 1 p.m. on BIG EAST Digital Network. The Red Storm will have its final three contests of the regular season carried on the channel including: Villanova (Oct 18.) at 7 p.m., Xavier (Oct. 21) at 1p.m. and DePaul (Oct. 25) at 7 p.m.

Men

With the team’s regular season opener a few days away, the complete broadcast schedule also has announced.

In addition to the seven games that will be carried on the BEDN, the Red Storm will have five of its six remaining home games broadcast on ESPN3 and through the Watch ESPN app.

Four of the Red Storm’s five ESPN3 broadcasts will come during non-conference play, beginning with the team’s home opener against Fairfield University Aug. 31 at 8 p.m. St. John’s will return to action on ESPN3 four days later when it hosts Lehigh University Sept. 4 at 7:30 p.m. Following a quick road trip to battle Temple, the Johnnies return to ESPN3 at Belson Stadium to take on Loyola Maryland Sept. 11 at 7 p.m.

The Red Storm’s lone conference showdown on ESPN3 will come Sept. 29 in a 7 p.m. contest against Butler. The Johnnies will then close out their ESPN3 slate with a non-conference match against Princeton Oct. 9 at 7 p.m.

St. John’s will also have seven contests carried on BEDN, the official streaming channel of the conference hosted on FOXSportsGo.com and presented through the FOX Sports app, beginning with the Red Storm’s league opener against local rival Seton Hall on Sept. 15 at Belson Stadium at 7 p.m. Six days later, the Johnnies’ first road contest of conference play will also be carried on BEDN, as the Red Storm heads to Cincinnati for a Sept. 21 showdown with the Xavier Musketeers. The bulk of the Johnnies’ BEDN slate will occur in October with the schedule appearing as follows: vs. Creighton (Oct. 6, 7 p.m.), vs. DePaul (Oct. 20, 7 p.m.), at Villanova (Oct. 24, 3 p.m.), at Georgetown (Oct. 27, 1 p.m.), and vs. Providence (Oct. 31, 7 p.m.).

In addition, the Red Storm’s tilt vs. Mount St. Mary’s on Sept. 25 at 7 p.m. will be aired through RedStormSports.com.

St. John’s will open the season on the road, traveling to Southern California for twp matches this weekend. The Johnnies will square off with UC Santa Barbara Friday night at 10:30 p.m. ET before ending the trip with a Sunday encounter against Loyola Marymount at 7 p.m. ET.
