Fresh off of a 6-0 victory over Paraguay, the U.S. Under-20 women’s national team will try to clinch a spot in the quarterfinals of the U-20 Women’s World Cup when it faces Spain Monday at 7:30 a.m. ET (FS2, NBC Universo).

The Americans sit in second place in Group C. A victory over La Roja would secure a place in the knockout round. After a 1-0 loss to Japan in its tournament opener, the U.S. came out firing against Paraguay and will look to keep the momentum rolling versus the European champions.

If the U.S. defeats Spain, the teams will be tied with six points each, but Spain will be behind the USA on goal difference, ensuring advancement for the U.S. in either first or second place in the group, depending on the result of the Japan-Paraguay match that will be played at the same time.

The U.S. can advance with a draw against Spain only if Japan draws or loses to Paraguay. The U.S. can still get through with a loss, but only if Japan loses and the USA maintains a superior goal differential.

Following pool play, all knockout round games will be broadcast live on FS2. Matches are also available to be streamed on the Fox Sports App and Fox Sports Go.
