Fordham University was ranked 16th in the United Soccer Coaches pre-season Division I men’s poll, which was released Tuesday.

The Rams (14-6-3) reached the quarterfinals of the NCAA D-I tournament last fall.

The Bronx-based school received 266 points.

Columbia University, which also qualified for the D-I tourney, was not listed in the formal top 25 schools, but the Lions were No. 28th among teams receiving votes (30).
