New Jersey Youth Soccer teams had seven players earning honors at the U.S. Youth Soccer National Championships at the Toyota Soccer Center in Frisco, Texas July 23-29.

Real Jersey FC Boys Under-14, PDA Shore Girls U-16, SJEB Rush Girls U-16 and Princeton Soccer Association Girls U-18 Girls had players represented on the roster of Best XI recipients.

The Best XI team was first introduced at the 2011 National Championships. Similar to FIFA’s All-Tournament concept, the Best XI recognizes the top 11 performers in each age group, irrespective of their position on the field, throughout the tournament as voted by coaches of the participating teams in that age group.

The Best XI join the Golden Ball, Golden Glove and Fair Play awards given out at the National Championships.
