Regardless how the Red Bulls fare against the Los Angeles Football Club, regardless if Bradley Wright fills the net or walks off the Red Bull Arena field scoreless and frustrated, the MLS team will honor the lethal striker Sunday night.

BWP’s accomplishment of scoring the fastest 100 goals in league history will be recognized in a post-game ceremony. The match is scheduled to kick off at 6 p.m., so the ceremonies should begin shortly after 8 p.m.

Wright-Phillips became the 11th player in MLS history to reach the 100-goal barrier, scoring in the second minute of New York’s 1-0 victory over D.C. United Wednesday, July 25.

After the players take a lap around the field, there will be a special presentation to Wright-Phillips, including highlights of his best goals and video messages from past coaches, teammates and others. The ceremony will be capped off with a special message from the club.

Fans also will receive a commemorative poster, celebrating Wright-Phillips’ record as they leave the stadium.
