The Sky Blue FC vs. Chicago Red Stars match that was originally set for Saturday has been rescheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 4 sy 7:30 p.m. ET at Toyota Park in Bridgeview, Ill., the National Women’s Soccer League announced Monday.
The game will be available live on the NWSL app and NWSLsoccer.com for both domestic and international fans.
Saturday’s match was postponed due to the cancellation of the club’s original flight to Chicago Friday.
There were a lack of feasible alternate options that would allow the New Jersey club to arrive in time to adequately and safely prepare for the game, according to the league.
Sky Blue FC will be back in action when it travels to the Orlando Pride Sunday for a 7:30 p.m. kickoff at Orlando City Stadium. The team will return home to Yurcak Field to host the Houston Dash Saturday, Aug. 11 at 7 p.m.
