TAMPA, Fla. — Red Bull II remained winless on the road, but managed to record a point with a second-half equalizing goal in a 2-2 United Soccer League draw with the 10-man Tampa Bay Rowdies at Al Lang Stadium Saturday night.

NYRBII (8-6-8, 32 points) fell to 0-4-7 away from home.

Brian White scored the equalizer in the 62nd minute off a Chris Lema cross, his eighth goal of the season.

It appeared the game was going to be a high-scoring affair as three goals were scored in the opening nine minutes in the rematch between the 2017 Eastern Conference semifinalists.

First, Jared Stroud tallied for his fourth goal of the season in the second minute to put the visitors on top.

Only six minutes later, former Red Bull II Stefano Bonomo converted a penalty kick to knot things up for the Rowdies (7-8-5, 26)

Bonomo doubled the lead in a minute later as he was assisted by another former NYRB II forward, Junior Flemmings.

Nine minutes into first-half stoppage time, Flemmings was awarded a red card, forcing the hosts to play with 10 men the rest of the match.

Newly signed Guatemalan defender Allen Yanes made his team debut in the 83rd minute replacing Lucas Stauffer.

Red Bulls midfielder Vincent Bezecourt, who returned to action for the first time since spraining his MCL against Columbus Crew SC June 9. He played the opening 40 minutes before he was replaced by Cristian Casseres.

NYRB II return home to MSU Soccer Park in Montclair, N.J. to face Penn FC Friday at 7 p.m.
