NEW YORK – The Columbia University men will bolster its roster with seven newcomers this fall.
The Lions, one of the top teams in the Ivy League, qualified for the 2017 NCAA Division I tournament.
“We are very happy with the seven additions that we have made to the 2018 roster,” head coach Kevin Anderson said . “Each guy is very unique and specific to our teams needs for the upcoming season and our future. Competition for positions will continue and has been a one of the key elements of our progress over the years. Along with daily competition we again have quality in depth at every position within the roster. 2018 is going to be a very exciting year and will require that we are all at our best on a daily basis.”
“I want to recognize the quality of work that our head of scouting, Ken Pollard, has done once again to bring this group together. He along with assistant coach Luke Kelly have tirelessly worked and combed the world to bring the quality person, player, teammate and student that is required to wear the Columbia Lions uniform.”
