MONTCLAIR, N.J. — Second-half substitute Amando Moreno tallied in the 78th minute to snap a 1-1 draw to boost Red Bull II to a 2-1 United Soccer League win over Bethlehem Steel FC at MSU Soccer Park Wednesday night.

NYRBII improved to 7-2-1 at home.

Derrick Etienne, Jr., who was loaned by the Red Bulls to the USL side prior to the match, had lifted the hosts into a 28th-minute advantage off a Brian White assist before Anthony Fontana equalized two minutes into first-half stoppage time.

Moreno replaced Etienne, Jr. in the 62nd minute and 14 minutes later, scored the tie-breaking goal, his ninth of the season.

Red Bulls reserve goalkeeper Ryan Meara was in the net for the hosts. He replaced Evan Louro, who was serving a one-game red-card suspension.

Red Bull II hits the road for two consecutive matches, visiting FC Cincinnati at Nippert Stadium Saturday at 7:30 p.m. (ESPN+)
