Favored FC Motown needed a 88th-minute goal by Lucas Terci to force extratime. The team then managed to stop an upstart Westchester United Soccer Club in the shootout, 4-2, to win the Keystone Conference crown of the National Premier Soccer League playoffs Saturday night.
The hosts won the penalty-kick tie-breaker at Ranger Stadium at Drew University.
FC Motown will host FC Baltimore, the Mid-Atlantic Conference champions, in a Northeast Region semifinal at Ranger Stadium Wednesday at 8 p.m.
Charles Wilson gave West Chester the lead in the 28th minute, forcing FC Motown to vie for the equalizer for the next hour.
Terci connected off a Dave Nigro feed in the 88th minute for a 1-1 tie before 30 minutes of extratime.
Julius James, Terci, Emerson Lawrence and Hani Nasr converted their penalty kicks in the tie-breaker.

West Chester had defeated FC Motown in its final regular season game, 2-1, denying the team an undefeated 10-0-0 record.
