Goalkeeper Tyler Deric, who had been suspended from training with or playing since his arrest in an alledged domestic incident, has been reinstated on the Houston Dynamo roster, Major League Soccer announced Thursday.
Deric, who had been banned for 19 league matches, was permitted to return to team activities and competition, subject to continued compliance with the Order of Deferred Adjudication.
On Nov. 1, 2017, Deric was suspended by the league in connection with his arrest and charge of misdemeanor assault in connection with an alleged domestic incident.
On May 22, the Harris County District Attorney entered into an Order of Deferred Adjudication and placed Deric on community supervision. Provided that he completes a year-long diversion program, all charges against Deric will be dismissed.
