HERSHEY, Pa. — Matt Nigro recorded a hat-trick to pace FC Motown to a 3-1 victory over Hershey FC in the heat in National Premier Soccer League action at Hershey High School Soccer Stadium Saturday night.

FC Motown (8-0-0, 24 points), which brought only one substitute to the match, moved closer to the Keystone Conference title with two games remaining in the regular season.

The New Jersey team leads Junior Lone Star FC (7-2-0, 21) by three points. Junior Lone Star has one game remaining in the regular season, so a draw or win by FC Motown in its Tuesday game vs. the Electric City Shock or a tie or a loss by Junior Lone Star against Hershey would give the former the conference crown.

Mike Olla assisted on one of the goals for the winners.

Former Lansdowne Bhoys goalkeeper Abdoukarm “Kabo” Danso could not secure the clean sheet for FC Motown, but came up with some vital saves.
