Red Bulls midfielder Vincent Bezecourt will miss from 6-8 weeks after suffering a right MCL sprain during Saturday’s 1-1 draw at Columbus Crew SC, the club  announced Tuesday.

The 25-year-old Bezecourt left the match in the 18th minute at MAPFRE Stadium as he was replaced by Marc Rzatkowski.

The former St. Francis College standout had scored the game-winning goal in the 4-0 triumph over New York City FC in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup fourth-round encounter last week.

He has a goal and two assists in 10 games across 10 matches in all competitions this year.
