One-time New York City FC draft choice Jalen Brown has signed with Cosmos B, the National Premier Soccer League team announced Thursday.
Brown, 23, was chosen by NYCFC in the second round (38th overall) of the 2017 MLS SuperDraft, but did not sign with the club.
The 5-10, 170-lb. Brown most recently played with the Rochester Rhinos (United Soccer League) in 2017, scoring one goal in 19 appearances.
He also has played with the Cincinnati Dutch Lions and Des Moines Menaces in the Premier Development League
Brown played at Xavier University, scoring 14 goals in 80 games from 2013-16.
