ROCHESTER, N.Y. — After two games, the Rochester Lancers are still seeking their first win of the National Premier Soccer League.

Twice, they couldn’t hold onto one-goal leads and settled for a 2-2 draw with Erie Commodores FC at Marina Auto Stadium Sunday.

The result, which gave Rochester, its first point of the young season, left the Lancers at 0-1-1 . Erie, however, enjoyed a memorable weekend, earning four points behind a 1-0-1 mark. Commodores FC registered a 4-3 home victory over FC Buffalo Saturday night.

In Sunday’s encounter, the teams combined for three goals over the 23 minutes of regulation.

Four minutes later, the Lancers retook the lead as Isaac Kissi put home a corner kick for a 2-1 margin

Erie, however, was not quite dead as the visitors knotted things up yet again, this time as Steve Rigg took advantage of a Rochester mistake and dribbled around Banahene for a 2-2 deadlock.

In the first game of  a doubleheader, the Rochester Lady Lancers dropped a 4-0 decision to the Connecticut Fusion.
