MADISON, N.J. — FC Motown could not hold a one-goal lead late in the match as it was eliminated by Penn FC from the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup Wednesday night.

The United Soccer League club scored three goals over the final 11 minutes in its comeback win at Ranger Stadium on the campus of Drew University.

With the National Premier Soccer League team enjoying a 1-0 advantage, Miguel Jaime equalized in the 79th minute before Prince Baffoe put the Pennsylvania side into the lead a minute later.

A minute into stoppage time, Pedro Fidalgo Galvão added an insurance goal.

Former Red Bulls midfielder Dilly Duka, the hero of FC Motown’s first-round win over the Red Bulls Under-23 team, gave Motown the lead in the 54th minute. Chris Katona intercepted the ball and fed Duka, who worked his way into the penalty area and drilled a shot into the far post.

Penn FC will meet the Richmond Kickers in the third round on Wednesday, May 23. Richmond defeated Reading United AC in its second round game via a shootout, 4-3, after playing to a 1-1 draw over 120 minutes Wednesday night.
