HARRISON, N.J. — Red Bull II played its fourth consecutive draw, recording a 1-1 United Soccer League tie with Nashville SC extending their unbeaten streak to seven games, at Red Bull Arena Sunday.
NYRBII (3-1-5, 14 points) extended its home unbeaten streak to seven games. The team also is unbeaten at RBA (3-0-1).
New York went down in the seventh minute off a failed clearance from Jordan Scarlett. Nashville’s Ropapa Mensah slotted one past goalkeeper Evan Louro for a 1-0 lead.
In the 27th minute, Chris Lema sent a through ball to Vincent Bezecourt, who buried his attempt with a left-footed strike. The assist was Lema’s first point of his career and Bezecourt’s first USL goal of 2018.
With head John Wolyniec out due to the birth of his newborn son, assistant coach Ibrahim Sekagya ran the show.
