Injured forward Ismael Tajouri-Shradi and midfielder-defender Kwame Awuah will miss Sunday’s game at the Portland Timbers.

Tajouri-Shradi sustained a hamstring injury in last week’s 2-2 draw at Atlanta United FC, while Awuah is recovering from a knee injury.

Tajouri-Shradi has accrued four goals in seven appearances, the last four matches deputizing for David Villa.

NYCFC (5-0-2, 17 points) is looking to extend its unbeaten streak to eight games against the squad of former Cosmos head coach Giovanni Savarese.
