Former Montclair State University striker Lucas Terci has agreed to join FC Motown, a source tells FrontRowSoccer.com.

Having spent last year training with Red Bulls II and trialing with the Cosmos, Terci spent preseason with the Red Bulls II.

He joins FC Motown ahead of its inaugural season in the National Premier Soccer League.

A Union, NJ. native, Terci is coming off a Montclair State career as he became a dangerous striker in the New Jersey Athletic Conference. The Red Hawks have been among the top Division III programs.

At FC Motown, the 6-1, 170-lb. Terci will join a team that has loaded up with talent. Among the players agreeing to join the club is midfielder Dilly Duka, who performed with the Red Bulls last year and is a former U.S. youth international.

FC Motown starts its year May 9 in the first round of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup. The NPSL side will host the Red Bulls U-23 squad at Drew University’s Rangers Stadium in Madison, N.J.

Last year in the Open Cup, FC Motown lost 3-0 in the second round to the Rochester Rhinos of the United Soccer League.

FC Motown first NPSL match in is the following weekend when its hosts FC Monmouth at Rangers Stadium May 19.
