HARRISON, N.J. – The Red Bulls Under-23 team will begin its Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup campaign against FC Motown at Ranger Stadium on the campus of Drew University in Madison, N.J. Wednesday, May 9 at 7 p.m.
The first-round draw was held at U.S. Soccer House in Chicago Wednesday.

FC Motown plays in the National Premier Soccer League.
This year’s winning team will receive $300,000 (up from $250,000 last year), a berth in the 2019 CONCACAF Champions League and have its name engraved on the Dewar Challenge Trophy, one of the oldest nationally contested trophies in American team sports.
The runners-up will earn $100,000 (up from $60,000 last year), while the team that advances the furthest from each lower division will take home a $25,000 cash prize (up from $15,000 last year).
The Red Bulls secured their qualification by winning the Mid-Atlantic Division in 2017 with a 12-1-1 record and plus 37 goal differential, tops in the Premier Development League.
New York’s first team will enter the competition, along with all other Major League Soccer clubs in the fourth round June 6.
