CHICAGO – Scratch defender Kelley O’Hara for the U.S. women’s national team roster for its friendlies against Mexico.

O’Hara was ruled out of the two matches due to a hamstring injury.

The Americans will host Mexico on April 5 in Jacksonville, Fla. (7 p.m. ET; FS1 and UDN) and April 8 in Houston, Texas (1:30 ET; FOX).

U.S. head coach Jill Ellis has added two players to the training camp roster, giving first USWNT call-ups to U.S. Under-23 international starting outside back Tegan McGrady and midfielder Haley Hanson of the Houston Dash.

Hanson, who played at the University Nebraska, was the seventh pick in the first round of the 2018 NWSL college draft by Houston. She has played all 90 minutes in the Dash’s first two games t5his season, a 1-1 tie with the Chicago Red Stars and a 0-0 draw with Utah Royals FC. Hanson played with the U.S. U-23 WNT at the end of 2017 and the beginning of this year.

McGrady, a rising senior at Stanford University, has played with the U.S. youth national teams at the U-17, U-18, U-20 and U-23 levels. She recently started all three matches against NWSL teams for the U-23s in the Thorns Spring Invitational in Portland, Ore. McGrady joins Stanford teammate Tierna Davidson on the roster. Both made major contributions on the back line as the Cardinal won the 2017 NCAA Championship.

Ellis will choose 18 players to suit up for each of the two matches.
