New York City FC captain and striker David Villa is healthy and can play Saturday night.

Villa traveled with the club to meet the San Jose Earthquakes.

Due to a calf injury, he had missed City’s last two games — a win and a draw — in which his understudy, Ismael Tajouri tallied three times.

Two players will watch the game on TV.

Costa Rican international defender Ronald Matarrita, who suffered a hamstring injury against Orlando City SC. He is expected to return to training next week.

Finland international midfielder Alex Ring, who incurred a knee injury while training with his national side. He is expected to return to action in April.

Ticos international forward Rodney Wallace has return to the team after international duty and is available for selection by head coach Patrick Vieira.

NYCFC is unbeaten this season with a 3-0-1 record and 10 points, while San Jose is 1-1 with three points.
