The schedule is yet to be finalized, but the Rochester Lancers and Lady Lancers known when they will be playing at home this year.

They announced seven dates they will be played at Capelli Sport Stadium in Rochester, N.Y.

That will include four doubleheaders between the National Premier Soccer League (Lancers) and United Women’s Soccer (Lady Lancers) sides.

The season opener, which will be a doubleheader is scheduled for May 27.

“We all have worked hard to get this stadium built and it’s important to keep this great city asset going,” Lancers boss Salvatore “SoccerSam” Fantauzzo. “We look forward to playing at our cities premier soccer stadium.”

Former Rochester Rhinos standout Doug Miller will return to coach the Lancers. Sal Galvano, who coaches the Monroe Community College women’s team, will direct the Lady Lancers.

Rosters and coaching staffs will be announced in the coming weeks.

The Lancers also will unveil ticket pricing early next week.

“Our goal is to maintain the family friendly and affordable entertainment that was created with the indoor Lancers,” Lancers director of operations Kayla Klark Kent said. “Children ages five and under and on–site parking will be free.”
