New York City FC will enter its season opener at Sporting Kansas City in pretty decent shape.

Only one player — forward Jo Inge Berget is sidelined with an injury. The Norwegian native is recovering from a quad injury.

Everyone else is healthy for Sunday’s 7:30 p.m. encounter at Children’s Mercy Park.

Several offseason additions, including Jesus Medina, Ismael Tajouri-Shradi and Anton Tinnerholm are trying to make the NYCFC Starting XI.
