The Red Bulls have 35 players in training camp in Oldsmar, Fla., including  Venezuelan Under-20 international midfielder Cristian Casseres.

Cristian Casseres, who turned 18 Jan. 20, most recently played for Deportivo La Guaira in the Venezuelan Primera División.

He could be one of the pieces to replace traded midfielder Sacha Kljestan to help run the Red Bulls’ attack.

He is the son of Cristian Casseres, who made 28 international appearances for the South American country.

As for the rest of the squad, the 35 players include eight forward, 11 midfielders, 13 defenders and three goalkeepers.

Broken down another way, that includes eight international players, seven Homegrown players, four unsigned players, three 2018 MLS SuperDraft picks and one Designated Player.
