Amando Moreno is ready to return to the Red Bulls.

According to Metro New York, the former Red Bull Academy player is close to a deal that would bring him back to the Major League Soccer team.

The 22-year-old Moreno has played for Tijuana in Mexico the last four years as he was on loan with Dorados the last four years. Playing time, however, has been hard to come by.

The Perth Amboy, N.J. native signed with the Red Bulls at the age of 17 in 2013. He played in two matches before his move to Tijuana.

Moreno has had extensive time with the U.S. Under-18 and U-20 national teams.
