Jesus Medina reportedly has traveled New York to take a medical tests with New York City FC.

The Paraguayan youth international midfielder has agreed to play for the Major League Soccer club, according to Tigo Sports in Paraguay.

Medina, 20, is expected to return to Paraguay to celebrate the new year before joining City for pre-season, Tigo Sports reported.

A regular with Libertad in Paraguay the last two years, Medina made his full internatonal debut in July.
