The Red Bulls will kick off their CONCACAF Champions League Round of 16 series against CD Olimpia in Honduras Thursday, Feb. 22, it was announced Friday.

They will host their foes in the second leg at Red Bull Arena Thursday, March 1.

As it turns out, the Red Bulls don’t have any games the weekend after the RBA leg as they will open their Major League Soccer season against the Portland Timbers at home March 10.

The range of dates for the first leg quarterfinals, to be contest among the eight Round of 16 winners, is set for March 6-8. The second leg is scheduled for March 13-15. The semifinals and championship home-and-away final of the competition are scheduled for April.

The winner of the CONCACAF Champions League will represent the region in the FIFA Club World Cup, which will be held in the United Arab Emirates.
